Music conveys the emotion of humanity. A sustainable environment provides humanity with a future. My artwork is intended to depict a mesh of music and landscape through a unique use of shape, form and colour. I present to you a co-existence of both music and environment thriving harmoniously.

About Irene Amorosi
Irene Amorosi completed her Diploma of Visual Arts at the Northern Melbourne Institute of Tafe and majored in printmaking. She has exhibited in numerous group exhibitions and in addition has hosted 3 solo exhibitions of her own, namely 'Vitae' (69 Smith St Gallery, 2002), 'Canto' (Montsalvat, 2003) and 'Music in Motion' (Cusp Gallery, 2006). Irene is a proactive member of the artist run gallery '69 Smith St Gallery'. She continually strives to promote and enhance services to fellow artists along with the gallery's forthcoming exhibitions. Irene was recently seleted as 1 of 39 emerging artists by the Toyota Community Spirit Gallery and exhibited her work in the 'Fear, Masks and New beginning' exhibition.

The Gallery’s mission is to be an affordable, innovative contemporary visual art exhibition space by measures of artist peers and public audience; to provide opportunities for the professional development of visual artists working in a wide range of art forms; and to promote public appreciation and understanding of contemporary visual art through critical debate.
