About Avril Bradley
Avril has been involved with poetry for most of her life, but since retirement has found she’s begun to live and breathe it. She enjoys reading, writing, performing and listening to poetry in all its forms. She recently reached the final of Poetry Idol and performed at Federation Square in the 2008 Melbourne Writers’ Festival. Her small collection, Poems from the Wilderness, was published in 2008. She is currently writing a book in conjunction with Mentone Grammar School, containing Rookus, Limericks & Artwork, by herself and students who participated in a Poetry Workshop at their Shoreham Camp. She is very fortunate to live in Frankston on the Bay where the sea view is inspirational!
