About this Rooku

Briefly, haiku is (hopefully) the capturing of a spontaneous moment of illumination, often with a seasonal reference or symbol, in one to three lines, of anything from 11 to 21 syllables (this is a contentious area), in two phrases or fragments that are subtly or ironically or strangely connected, and one of which is a jump or leap from the other, with underlying suggestions of impermanence, complementary oppositeness, sadness and joy, sentience in everything, and/or oneness.
