About geoffrey dobbs

Born in England in 1941, arrived in Melbourne in 1969 and live in East Brighton. Most of my working life has been in academic publishing. I have had a lifelong love affair with poetry but have only recently made a serious attempt at writing it myself. I am fascinated and challenged by poetry's capacity to express complex ideas and emotions in a few words and lines.
