About this Rooku
My thematic concerns are subconscious. Haiku and Senryu come from jottings of experiences and observations to which I return later. As I grow older my interests flow towards nature and seasonal changes. I wrote my poem “The buttlerfly house” years after the event, recalling my sister’s visit. She knew it was her last.

Carla Sari migrated from Italy. A Primary teacher she was studying for a degree in languages at Venice University. In Australia she completed her studies at Melbourne University and worked at various jobs. She lives in North Carlton. Her main interests are music, writing short prose and short poems.
